Reclaimed R5-Shorty eBike/eScooter Battery Packs 470Wh 36v 13Ah. These compact packs contain the powerful and popular high-capacity lithium-ion LG MH1 3200mAh 18650 cells. These are very similar to the same packs as the very popular R5, JUMP packs and 40-cell scooter packs but without the need for an activating dongle. These can be used as 470Wh eBike battery packs, though originally made as E-Scooter battery packs. Connect x2 in parallel to make 36v 26Ah 936Wh. Connect x2 in series to make 72v 13Ah 936Wh.

Packs come with custom Julet output connectors (2-pin power male + 3-pin data female), and the input connectors are 2-pin female (Mini Molex/Tamiya?). If you want XT connectors you'll need to add your own. Packs may have some cosmetic blemishes from storage.

      Charger sold separately. These packs can be charged using our standard 42v 2A charger. Make sure you choose a charger with the right connector, if not you'll have to splice in your own connector. We recommend fully charging this pack as soon as you receive it.



      • Can give you a range of approximately 30-45 miles at low speeds (10mph), or approximately 15-20 miles at high speeds (20mph).

      Harvesting Cells

      If you prefer to harvest the cells, you have to open the case, remove the rubber around the cells, and extract the cells as shown here. You'll have to cut and clean the Nickel interconnects using snips.

      Once the cells are out and clean you will have to test them using a charger like this.
