Great deal! This listing is for a pallet full of 20-cell Ninebot ES4 Internal eScooter packs 36v 5A 187W, for cell-harvesting only. They contain quality EVE or LGM26 18650 2600mAh lithium-ion cells. Cells usually come in at around 80-90% of the original capacity. BMS is in unknown condition.

Approximately 830 packs per pallet! Originally made as E-Scooter battery packs, these can be used as 187W E-Bike battery packs, to make DIY powerwalls, or to make expansion battery packs for Bluetti/Ecoflow. Can be used for replacing internal Ninebot ES2/ES4 scooter battery, and also for powering eBikes or any other 36v devices requiring 5.2A or less. For higher amp applications, combine multiple packs in parallel. Connect x2 in series to make 72v 5Ah 360W. Connect x2 in parallel to make 36v 10A 360W. Combine x3 using this Amp Booster.

Packs may have some cosmetic blemishes from storage. Some packs have the cables cut. Individual pack condition is "unknown" and "untested" so the pallet is sold as-is, but similar batches have yielded mostly usable packs. The BMS is in unknown condition, and some BMSs may need to be awakened on many units or even replaced.

Charging

Chargers sold separately. These packs can be charged using our standard 42v 2A charger or by using an 8A fast charger. Some packs may need to be charged via variable charger to reduce cell stress on low SOC packs. We recommend fully charging packs as soon as they are received. These are reclaimed packs, so the actual cell voltage you receive may be lower than the factory specs.

    Harvesting Cells

Scooter packs are great for harvesting 18650 cells as they typically have low cycles. To harvest the cells you have to crack packs open and extract the cells,  you'll have to cut and clean the Nickel interconnects using snips. Once the cells are out and clean you will have to test them using a charger like this.

    Typical Capacity: 2600mAh
    Nominal Capcity: 2550mAh
    Diameter: 18mm
    Length: 65mm
    Voltage nominal: 3.6V
    Charge voltage cut-off: 4.2V
    Discharging cut-off: 2.5V

This video shows you how to DIY harvest the cells, based on a very similar pack:

Note that these are reclaimed packs, so the actual cell voltage you receive may be lower than the label shows. These items are sold for DIY and Second Life purposes. Listings that are “untested” as sold as-is and cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded. We make no guarantees that all cells will be usable. Even when sold as “new”, “NOS”, or “like-new”, they may be in less than perfect condition. Buyer is responsible for proper cell recycling/disposal. Sold as-is. No refunds.

If you buy a product from us and then realize you don't have, or don't want to acquire, the tool(s) or information needed to make our product(s) work for your specific build, this does not constitute valid grounds for replacements, exchanges or refunds. You are responsible for doing your due diligence before making any purchases.
