Jehu officially drank the crypto NFT kool-aid.
Meet the 1st official Jehu Garcia NFT, it's called "Jehu Garcia NFT #1 Pixel Aquamarine". This is 1 of 3 from the very first set of Jehu Garcia limited edition NFTs.
You may wonder what all this talk lately about NFTs is all about. You're not alone. This new digital phenomenon is going to be around for a while, so let's get you up to speed.
According to the source of all wisdom, Wikipedia, NFT stands for "non-fungible token", and it states that "a non-fungible token is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable. NFTs can be used to represent items such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files.
Sounds complex, but it's actually quite simple. Here's an easier way to understand it. You've likely owned something in the physical world, like a candy bar or a bike. How did you prove it was yours and not stolen? You likely produced some form of receipt that proved a transfer of ownership to you. With this receipt all could see that you are the rightful owner of the physical item.
NFTs are similar, but in the digital world. An NFT is a unique digital item you can buy with cryptocurrency, and the "receipt" data is stored on the blockchain so all can see that you are the rightful owner. NFTs are digital items you can own. To the purists out there, this is an abridged explanation.
Jehu even has a battery pack that can only be bought with crypto, it's a physical bonus that comes along with that digital NFT. NFTs are all the rage right now, and all the kids are doing it instead of break-dancing and playing the Donkey-Kongs.
Take a peek into the future and check out the Jehu Garcia limited edition NFTs now.
