The Straight Rig is an extremely versatile and well balanced shoulder rig for shooters who prefer to use an external monitor or EVF, rather than the camera’s built-in LCD.

The camera sits on the centerline of the rig, and with its wide handles, The Straight Rig balances perfectly on the roll axis. The soft shoulder pad and compact counterweight complete the picture and create a rig that is inherently stable fore-and-aft and side-to-side.
Versatility
The Straight Rig is extremely versatile. When equipped with the optional top handle and tripod mounting plate, The Straight Rig quickly converts from the perfect shoulder rig, to the perfect low-angle camera platform, then into the perfect tripod-mounted camera platform. Returning to the subject of balance, when shoulder mounted The Straight Rig is smooth, balanced and non-fatiguing. As the rig comes off the shoulder and is operated low from the top handle, The Straight Rig maintains its balance and composure. Pimp My Rig
The Basic Straight Rig is a great option for those on a budget, and the Plus is an excellent tool for the on-the-go cinematographer.
