One of the two railblock options is the Jag35 Single Railblock (male). All the edges on the single Railblock male have been chamfered (knobs included) and it comes with a smooth and precise milled aluminum finish that allows the industry standard 15mm rods to be inserted easily. The 1/4-20 set screw will allow you to attach any accessory with threading of the same size. The 1/4-20 set screw works with most camera microphones, sound recorders, and lighting equipment. Another outstanding component of the single railblock male is the cross-knob located at the base of the 1/4-20 set screw; the cross-knob facilitates adding and removing accessories promptly.
The single railblock is an integral component that takes filming to the next level. The single railblock female also comes with many of the same features, all egdes have been chamfered (knobs included) and it comes with a smooth and precise milled aluminum finish that also adjusts nicely to the industry standard 15mm rods. The single railblock female does not have the 1/4-20 set screw but rather a 1/4-20 thread that allows you to adjust any device that has a 1/4-20 thread such as an articulating arm, goose neck, or mini ballhead to position them exactly where they are needed. The single railblock female is certainly also a fine complement to any rig increasing its capabilities when filming.
