The Tripod Plate will allow you to connect any set of rods to a tripod. Made out of aluminum and features a small cheese plate with 1/4-20 holes that will let you mount to any 1/4-20 threaded studs.

It’s a very simple design that should be very flexible for multiple use. Will work with our Shoulder Rig and bottom rods on our DSLR Cage. Will be posting more pictures of this plate being used in different configurations.

    I wonder if i could use this the other way round to mount a 7d or 5dII with a battery grip an use a follow focus?

    You can mount you're camera with the battery grip but the distance between the camera and rods would be bigger. Currently we have no solution but Jehu is currently coming up with parts and is manufacturing, these parts will allow you to raise the rods. Dave is also currently coming of with a block that will allow you to raise you're D|Focus.

    Any chance of having 3/8 inch holes as well. I have a larger tripod and would love to put some beefier screws in there.

    Never gotten this request before, the current version only has 3/4-20 threads only. But we can prepare one with that thread size if you want it that way. Order it and send me an email.
