Yes you can use this with your camera and adapter.

1. Adjusting the height of your camera is possible, with the use an allen key.

No you don't need these rods, if you are using the cage, you can mount the cage directly to a tripod.

Can this be used with the 5D MRK 2 and D|Focus follow focus system attached to tripods as Gitzo and Cartoni? I do not want the DSLR MOUNT V2 because it might not work for what I needs.

ok well what options are there for supporting a Jag35SP with a DVX100B? I understand that the rail support you guys have for the SP is for HV30/40 cameras and not the bigger prosumer cameras. so a month ago you said you only had one in stock, is this being discontinued? is there a newer product you are using instead? I am considering a DOF adapter but I am not going to buy one if I cannot get a support system.

We do not offer this Rod support system or any kind of rod support system for adapters anymore. With the whole DSLR boom people are moving more and more away from shooting with adapters. The demand for rods support systems for adapters is pretty much dead. Sorry about that.
