Micro Ballhead

dslracc_microballhead-main

This Mini Ball-Head Mount option works perfect to mount your external HD monitor, Zoom H4n, Rhode Mic, or any other accessory to the Jag35 DSLR Cage. It’s very strong and sturdy and very easy to adjust.
It’s a mini “socket & ball” head that has been carefully designed and manufactured to precisely position your accessories easily and securely. Measuring slightly over 1″ (27mm) in diameter.

In order to cut back on its weight, this head features a hollowed out heavily anodized aluminum ball. The body shell (socket) follows a slimmer and lighter structure design, yet offers increased hardness. Features a small control thumb screw that locks down all movement of the ball.

Hey – Looking to mount my ZOOM H4n to my Manfrotto 504 head that features 3/8 threads in top head. Will this fit that?

  • http://misagarcia.com Misa Garcia

This ballhead has a 1/4-20 thread, not sure exactly where you want to mount it, but it’s always easier to mount this to a rig that’s mounted to your tripod head. For example you can mount this to the top of a DSLR Cage or directly to any 15mm rod on any rig, like a DSLR Baseplate or shoulder rig. Hope that makes sense.
