Jag35E

The Most Affordable Vibrating Adapter

This product has been discontinued

The JAG35E model is the most affordable adapter with a Vibrating Screen. Its a vibrating 35mm DOF adapter that gives more control over depth of field using a 35mm SLR lens.

Adapter Features:

  • 5 Micron Vibrating GG Screen
  • PCX Condenser Lens
  • Available in Canon FD or Nikon Mount
  • Available in Threads 37mm or 43mm
  • Shipping in Approximately 10 work days
$199

It includes a condensing PCX lens element to reduce Vignetting commonly found on DOF adapters.

It is only available with Canon FD or Nikon mounts.
The FD mount is made of plastic. Available in 43mm threads and also 37mm and other sized threading is possible by using step up rings.

It uses internal rechargeable batteries that charge using the supplied charger in 4 hours and last more than 10 hours of operation under the right conditions.

This adapter like most others, inverts the image but I offer a “Flip Hack” that allows you to fix this and work around this issue. I recommend the 5M screen as it is the sharpest and brightest. Orders within the US are $20 for shipping, any International orders require an extra $20 making a total of $40 per any international order. Once you order, you check out, you will be redirected to page with this option. Also, you will need to purchase a power converter like one of these.

I believe your camera has a 30mm filter thread, so really any of our adapter will work with your camera, however you'll need to get a 37mm to 30mm step down ring in order to mount our adapter on your camera.

I would suggest you go with the Jag35Pro w/ 40mm achromat and make sure you select the 37mm thread option.
You'll also need to get a 37mm to 30mm step down ring, which you can get from ebay, something like this, Click Here.

I wonder if you can help me. I am a bit of a newby, but want to buy this adapter.

I have a Sanyo VPC-FH1 camcorder. What thread size do I need for this?

Also, if I want to use a Nikon AF 50mm f/1.8D lens, what else do I need to buy?

The first thing to figure out about your camera is, does it have a filter thread in front of your lens, if it does, then what size is it, whatever size it is, then order accordingly, if we don't have that exact size thread for you, then get the closest available thread, and use a step ring like we told Omar on the previews comment. Hope this helps you out.

About using your Nikon lens, you don't need anything extra, just make sure you select the Nikon mount option when placing your order.

I have the "Canon Vixia HV30", and "MC Rokkor-X 50mm Minolta" Lens.

And I would like to buy the JAG35E.

My question is: Which mount should I get for this "Minolta" lens?

    FD or Nikkon Mount?

    Thank you in advance.

Awesome New Website by the way.

    Hi Juan,

We don't support Minolta lenses, however you might wanna do a search online and see if you can find a Minolta Lens Converter to either Canon FD or Nikon body. If you can find it, then there's your solution.

Since your Panasonic DVX100 has a 72mm filter thread, I really would recommend you go with the Jag35Pro w/ 72mm achromat, this will come with a 72mm thread as well, so it'll easily screw right on your camera's filter thread. You can find the Pro adapter on this page: http://jag35.com/new/products/jag35pro/

The Jag35E has been discontinued. I suggest you go with the Jag35Pro w/ 40mm achromat, get the 43mm thread, and use a 46mm to 43mm step down ring. Should work fine with your camera.

    Gracias.

    Hello,

I received past week my JAG35E, when i turn it on, it's nto vibrating, only when I push down the white boutton. Should I always keep that boutton down while filming, or is there a step I did not follow to make it work properly ?

    Thank you !

Yeah, try adjusting the speed of the motor by turning the small screw on the face of the battery box.

Your AG-HMC40 camera has a filter thread of 43mm according to CNET Reviews . So when placing your order just make sure you select the 43mm thread option. Also, you might wanna go with either the Jag35ST or the Jag35Pro, because this one has been discontinued.

No manual, it’s pretty straight forward. Screw it on your camera’s filter thread, mount a lens on your adapter, and turn it on to reduce the GG Screen vibrations, while you shoot with it.
