The i90 clamp is designed basically to attach a single rod at a 90 degree angle to industry standard support rods. We use it in our rigs to mount the Side Handles to the front of our shoulder mounts, such as the Straight Rig and the Shoulder Rig. These can be used in many different configurations, and it’s very easy to set up.

We did make a change to our shoulder pad, which is like the one shown in this picture. This will replace the current shoulder pad, so from now on our shoulder pads will start shipping this way.

what length rods are on the Straight rig? and could I use a combination of clamps to attach another shorter section of rods behind or in front?

Straight Rig comes with 20″ rods. You cannot extend the 20″ rods. If you get Jag35 3″, 6″, 8″ or 12″ rods you can use the Rod Connectors to connect rods to each other http://bit.ly/rodconnector Not sure how long you wanna go, but they aren’t made to be extended indefinitely.
