The Jag35 DSLR Cage has gone thru a few different revision and a couple of small transformations. We’re proud to introduce the new and improved DSLR Cage, which will offer a couple of new upgraded features. It’s become difficult to come up with an easy way to offer this setup as bundles, simply because of it’s versatility and infinite possibilities of configuring your rigs. Everyone has different tools for their DSLR Rig and everyone want’t to mount them differently, so it’s instead of offering you a “one bundle fits all needs” type of kit, we decided to let you guys decide how you will set up your rig, by giving you as many different options as we can.
Basic Cage Options
The new basic cage design will come in 3 different sizes. The smallest cage is designed to work your Canon T2i (550D) It will featured the same stability and quality built that all our cages offer, without the extra space needed for the bigger mid-size cameras, like the Canon 7D or the 5DmkII. It also offers a special design that will let you easily replace your battery without the need to have to detach your camera from the DSLR Cage. The Second option is a DSLR Cage specifically design to fit both the Canon 7D and the 5DmkII. This model also allows for easy access to the Battery without the need to detach from the camera from the DSLR Cage. The Third option is designed to accept the Canon 1D or a 7D/5D with a battery grip attached.

Our last update to our DSLR Cage was the quick release plate, which now all our DSLR Cages ship with. This basically makes it so that you can attach the quick release plate, which is included with every Cage to your DSLR Camera, then you can easily mount your camera to the DSLR Cage, this was requested by many so we finally decided to upgrade it, after we were able to make some changes to the design of the DSLR Cage. We hope that this will solve some of the issues people were havin’ with mounting the camera to the Cage.
New Update:
Our latest update on this product is basically only made to the quick release plate, we have modified it to accept the Z-Finder mounting frame, so instead of tryin’ to mount your gorilla plate inside the DSLR Cage you can now simply attach your z-finder mounting frame directly to the DSLR Cage’s quick release plate and then you can attach the z-finder direct to that. The quick release will give you the same adjustments you get with the gorilla plate, so you can place the mounting frame correctly on your camera’s LCD. This will be an optional feature when ordering your DSLR Cage, or if you already have a DSLR Cage with the quick release plate, you can just buy the new quick release plate upgrade, to add to your kit.
