So does the regular adapter from the handles come in this bundle (not the rail blocks) the single holed adapter that comes with the regular handles if I were to buy it separately. Because I was thinking if I would put one on top rail I might be able to use it under slung for lower angles???

Hi — Just curious if you saw the new configuration for the new z-finder pro's — they add a small lift to the bottom of the camera, and the camera looks tight as it is. Do you know if this rig is going to accommodate the new gorilla plate set up.

The current cage doesn't support the GH1, you can fit it in and it'll work, but you can't remove the battery easily without removing the Camera from the Cage. Not sure yet, if there's a big demand for GH1 support.

I'm VERY interested in this, but have some questions as a few things aren't clear from the information above, particularly in regards to this vs. the v2 cage.1. I'm looking to get at least your monitor, monitor battery, and LCDVF with a Zoom H4N to a Rebel T2i (w/o battery pack). What exactly do I need to get on top of this OR the v2 cage in order for me to mount these things?2. With the equipment mentioned in #1, is this cage or the v2 cage the better option for me?3. It was mentioned a shoulder mount being on its way. Is the shoulder mount an add-on compatible with both this cage and the v2 cage, meaning which ever way I go I can get it?Thanks.

Hi Peter,1. You basically would need the Cage and a few ballhead mounts to mount your stuff to the cage.2. From the info you've told us, it's hard to answer this. You can do the same things you wanna do, with either cage version. The difference, is weather you want to use Rods on the bottom of your cage or not. Some people want to keep their rigs as small as possible and don't to use rods, so with the v1 you can mount your D|Focus with a simple D|Plate and not use any rods at all. 3. Yes, the shoulder option should be available end of the week, and will be offered as an upgrade to either cage.Hope this helps.

If purchased separately (cage, bottom rods, side handles) the side handles include an "i90 clamp" that isn't listed with this bundle. I'm guessing that's the rail block that allows you to mount the handles under the bottom rods, is that piece available separately?

can you show or tell me how you can attach the zoom h4n and a seinheisher wireless receiver to the cage?

Not really, it’s not setup to work with the battery grips. we don’t recommend it.

We have not sat down and tried making a full rig out for the DSLR cage Bundle, but if you have enough imagination I’m pretty sure you can make something with all of the parts that we offer. What pad are you referring to to stabilize? If you meant the shoulder pad for the shoulder rigs, we do not offer an way to mount it so that its positioned toward your chest.

It’ll work, but I wouldn’t recommend it. With the flip out screen, you’ll have problems with it opening all the way. I would say go with the DSLR Baseplate, instead, of the Cage, you can still add cross rods and handles.

Yes, it is.

You cannot fit your camera with Battery Grip inside the DSLR Cage, you will need to remove the battery Grip in order to fit the DSLR inside the Cage. If you must use the Battery Grip, the I suggest you stick with our regular DSLR Stand

Will this cage bundle accommodate a RED Scarlet? 

Probably not, it was designed to be used with DSLR Canons mostly the 5D / 7D / 60D and T2i and T3i model cameras. Also, this product has been discontinued, so we no longer offer it.
