The DSLR Baseplate was specifically designed as a small compact solution that will give you support rods below your camera. You can mount your Follow Focus and Mattebox and virtually anything that can attach to industry standard rods.

You can use our single rod clamps to attach anything thru the 1/4-20 threaded stud. This Baseplate is also compatible with our full shoulder rig. It can be used instead of the DSLR Cage to hold your camera in place.

  1. Misa Garcia says:

That is our new quick release plate, which means you’ll be able to mount it straight to the rods without havin’ to slide it in from the end of the rods. it’s in the works, should be available very soon, as an upgrade or separate piece, it won’t replace the current DSLR Mount.
