I've been thinking about grabbing this along with the handcrank and the student version of your DoF adapter but I'm wondering if everything will fit on the shrigg rig 12" comfortably.

I just ordered mine and just realized, does the D Focus V2 come with a RailBlock like in the picture above or do I have to order it separately? By chance when you get the time can you state what all comes with D Focus V2 and maybe make a kit that includes everything we need (RailBlock if not included, 2-3x gears, D crank).

The D|Focus does come with one Rail Block, so you can mount it on rods. Also comes with the White Marking disc and Pin. I'll Include a picture and description of everything you get. And will also work on a package deal within the next few days.

Yes, our D|Focus is made to be mounted on any industry standard rods. 15mm thick rods and 60mm space between the rods. Should work perfectly!

For anyone else who may experience this: everytime I would click to buy, it would show a quantity of 2. I would update the cart to 1 and proceed. Paypal would not go through. Everytime I would try again it would show 2 in quantity. Finally on the paypal checkout page I clicked delete where it showed the DFocus item. It then told me I had nothing in my cart. I closed the page and tried from here again and it worked.

Yes, it's certainly a possibility, especially if you mount them on different sides. Or if your want to mount them on the same sides, you'll need to mount one on the bottom rods and from the top rods, might have pictures of this soon.

Just purchased a v2 DFocus. I'm using the rail block and am wondering how to reverse the gearplate to use on the left side of the camera. it's not a very complicated unit. Just remove the screws and fiip it if you need to. However, if your looking into your camera from the Viewfinder side…. the D|Focus is setup to go on the left hand side, just like in all the pictures.

Haven't gotten many requests for this as it's pretty straight forward, but we're working on them, so please be patient, we're struggling to keep up just making D|Focus, but I guess we'll have to take some time to make instructions, we'll have them for you very soon.

HI Misa, I live in Perú and want to order a pair of D focus V3 for my 7D and 5DmkII, I am also owner of the new dslr rig from cinevate that comes now with a proteus quick realease system. I really need your help as I dont have any idea if the Dfocus V3 will align with the lens gears If I am using this Dslr rig. I can see that the Expensive Durus Follow focus seems to be "taller" than the Dfocus V3 but not as quality affordable as the Dfocus. Please Help! and cheers from Perú.

You would need rod support below your camera. Are you using a 35mm adapter and a lens with your camera?

Just got my v3 in the other day. This is my first FF so I cannot compare it to high-end systems but this thing is smooth. Extremely please with the purchase, feel like I got the most value for my $$. I'm using it with Nikon E Series lenses (28 and 50mm) and they are super short, but with the D|Mount I can get it to work just fine in the normal setup. Which is good cause I could not figure out how to flip the gear. The D|Mount can be positioned on the T2i so that the battery door is still accessible. This new version has a much cleaner look. The removal of the silver pieces of v2 makes it much cleaner and gives it a higher end look (IMO).One thing I would like to see improved is for the pin to be closer to the wheel. I would think if you were marking it it would be more precise to have your reference just off the edge. Great product at a great price. Totally happy with the purchase.

If we post them for sale and continue to accept orders, and sell say 300+ units, we won't be able to ship those for months.
