How does it perform with small, fine adjustments?

Yes it will probably be loud. It’s just the nature of these motors. You’ll definitely need to use external mics in order to record proper sound when using the remote follow focus, also, while making small subtle adjustments, the motor isn’t as loud, you’ll only hear the loud motor when making long rack focus from infinity to near. Other than that it should be ok.

It performs pretty well actually… we’ll be posting some more videos to show this very soon.

You would also need the DSLR baseplate in order to mount the motor to your camera. http://jag35.com/new/products/dslr-baseplate/ You will also need at least one lens gear for your lenses.

Are any of your motors compatible with the Ziess Compact Prime lens, that is, w/o using the supplied lens gear? Also,the CPs can rotate 360 degrees. Thx in advance.

OMG. This is amazing. If it does well for slow focus it will be perfect for me. How far away can the wireless transmitter be used and still work fine? I want to get a 12-14′ camera crane and be able to focus remotely. Thanks!

according to the specs, and under the perfect conditions, it should go as far as 1000FT
