An alternative to the standard DSLR baseplate, the DSLR Baseplate Basic strips down its design to offer a simple and basic DSLR baseplate to get the job done. Based around our Tripod Plate Basic, the Baseplate Basic features both 3/8-16 and 1/4-20 threaded holes to mount your baseplate on a variety of tripods. We’ve taken the Tripod Plate Basic and added a DSLR stand v2 to mount your camera and rods, and included two 6" 15mm rods. The baseplate is compatible with any rods or rail-blocks that adhere to the industry standard 15mm rod system, making it easy to mount any follow focus, sound, or light accessory to your setup. Made from sturdy and lightweight aluminum, the Baseplate Basic will support a variety of camera setups, from simple to complex. The baseplate is anodized to give it a smooth, shiny, long lasting finish and a more even, consistent color, so that your Baseplate has and maintains a clean, professional appearance. The stronger tightening knobs give users piece of mind that their camera and accessories are safely and securely mounted. So if you’re looking for a simple, easy to use, and less expensive alternative for your setup, the Jag35 DSLR Baseplate Basic will get the job done for you.
